Do I Need a Wedding Planner? YES!

Making your wedding day yours and just yours can be a pain in the you know what. There is so much advise and ongoing stress involved that you may lose your vision if you don’t have in mind exactly what you want. We’ve seen it over and over again that if you have a strong personality involved that is NOT one of those getting married that things can go awry. Our advise to you is to get a wedding planner! It will be the best investment you’ll make in regard to your wedding. Wedding Planners are the end all, be all of sanity in the chaos of planning a wedding!

There are at least 5 great reasons to hire a Wedding Planner that I can ramble off without having to even think about it and believe me, there are a good deal more than five reasons but we’ll start with those.

#1 They Know People—They really do! And I don’t just mean in a general way. It is these professionals jobs to know the best of the best in the wedding business and how to get a hold of them. They will analyze what you want and what you need and organize it into a doable list of what is possible to make your wedding be the dream you have in mind. Tip: They can usually get vendor discounts!

#2 They Do Set Up & Clean Up — As a wedding venue we have personally experienced the shock of those left behind by the Bride & Groom that clean up has to happen and it falls on them to do it. This is really important so I’ll say it again Wedding Planners do set up and clean up! No one wants an irritable and tired new branded mother-in-law whining at you while you’re trying to get your tan on your honeymoon about her having to pick up a few napkins.

#3 They Will Be Your Ally — Yes, you need an ally. When your high school friend wants to wear blue but your sister says pink and you feel like you’ve fallen into the movie, Sleeping Beauty, “make it blue, make it pink” this Fairy Godmother by the name of Wedding Planner will save you. She is there to be your sounding board for what you want! And if what you want is to please your bridesmaids….well, she can help you with that too.

#4 Keeping the Money Manageable — If you don’t have a budget in mind then your Wedding Planner will help you make one and once that’s in place then that’s what it is. No, they can’t work miracles and get your favorite photographer for $100 but they can help you understand what everything will cost and aid you in prioritizing what’s most important to make your day happen.

#5 Less Stress This may not seem like it deserves it’s own number but I can explain. Just knowing that someone is there to help you shoulder the burden of what can be supremely overwhelming in the best of times will lower your stress levels. Do you really want to be the bridezilla your family talks about for the next 30 years? Highly unlikely. Everyone wants to have that perfect day. Everyone wants it to flow smoothly and be the “best day ever!” It’s just not statistically possible. Something will go wrong and when it does then you won’t have to deal with it. That’s what a Wedding Planner does.

If these reasons aren’t good enough for you to send an inquiry to a few wedding planners right away then you must be a super hero. Even if you think you have this whole thing handled you should still hire a wedding planner to be your best friend because after you’ve alienated all your family by being crazy you just might need one but then you won’t alienate them in the first place if you have a wedding planner….circular thinking.
